Meet Dr. Daugherty
Dr. Daugherty is a native of Alabama haven grown up in the small town of Toxey in Choctaw County, Alabama. Dr. Daugherty still has a love for small towns, family gatherings and the outdoor lifestyle.
Dr. Daugherty received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of West Alabama and attended the University of Alabama School of Dentistry, receiving his Doctor Medicine Dentistry degree with honors in 1998. While in dental school, Dr. Daugherty received numerous awards for outstanding academic and clinical achievements including the Endodontic Achievement Award, Hinman Scholar, served as President of American Student Dental Association and was elected to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dentistry’s honorary scholastic society. Dr. Daugherty completed his specialty training in Endodontics at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry, where he received a Certificate in Endodontics in 2000.
He is a current member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontists, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, Alabama 3rd District Dental Society and the Alabama Association of Endodontists.
Dr. Daugherty is an avid sportsman and enjoys all things family and outdoors as well as traveling and spending time with his wife, Angie, and their three boys Tyler, Carson, and John Connor.
